Queen of the Day and Governor of the Sun and Summer Solstice. Bright and warm, she is a mother to many, even if not by blood or any relation. All of what happened with Sombra in the Reflections comics. He and Celestia met after her and Starswirl discovered and went into the mirror, and she kept meeting him. The only difference is that this happened long ago, and none of the mane six were apart of the story. Mirror Sombra still absorbed the darkness of his universes Celestia and Luna so the Universe wouldn't collapse, just with the help of normal Celestia and Luna. This would have been not long before Luna's corruption. Celestia and Sombra also bet more and for longer than in canon, probably for around a year they were together. She hated what he did, absorbing the darkness of her and her sister's counterparts, but understands why he did. Soon after the connection to his universe was lost, or disconnected, Celestia does not know which.

After the Nightmare War and Luna's banishment, Celestia found out she's pregnant. Alicorns carry for much longer than non-alicorns. Around 16-18 months instead of the normal 10-11. When she figured this out, Celestia used her magic to put a pause on her pregnancy to hold it off for even longer. She was not ready for a foal, she just lost her sister and her nation needed to recover from the war. So she used a spell to slow her pregnancy for as long as she could. But she couldn't stop it forever. But she was at least able to stop it until Luna returned (Yeah 1000's Years of pregnancy doesn't sound fun, but don't worry about it, and don't think about it too hard :'] ). And so Princess Silver Heart was born a couple months after Luna's return. The relief Celestia felt seeing her sister again caused her body to resume the pregnancy. Luna helped with caring for her sister, and the foal was kept hush-hush for a while. Silver Heart was kept from the public for the first few years of her life, but then was announced to the nation on her 5th birthday. Luna was the one to push Celestia to make it public, Silver was so lonely and needed to be socialized, to ponies other than the castle staff.

Polar Veil is much older than her cousin Astral, even if she doesn't look it. She may not be an Alicorn, but being blood related to both one of the most powerful alicorns in existence, and a powerful unicorn mage, Veil has strong magic within her. It makes her age much slower than those she knows, but not as slow as full born alicorns. She is about 12 years older than her cousin.

Notes:
- Was a Unicorn before her ascension, and was raised by Starswirl with her sister.
- When Starswirl realized she and her sister had connections to the celestial bodies, he raised them to take over control of them, and to become the next rulers of the young nation.
- Had light pink hair before ascension, and as her magic grew more colors were added, and has an iridescent sheen to her hair and feathers.
- Gained scars from fighting her sister. Had more right after the war, but only the worst of them remain. Twilight thinks she prevents them from healing fully as a reminder.
- Suffers from ptsd and anxiety. From both the Nightmare war and what she went though with Mirror Sombra.
- Has not talked to her sister about the Mirrorverse since her return, and will not say who Silver's father is. Luna is fairly certain they know who it is though.
- Has not talked to her universes Sombra at all since his return, nor when he tried to take over the crystal empire. Which is one of the main reasons she sends Twilight instead.
- Since Sombra's reformation, he is now a delegate of the Changeling kingdom, and Husband of King Thorax. Celestia refuses to acknowledge him, and only communicates to King Thorax. If she is needed to meet with their kingdom in person, she sends her sister or another delegate instead. She has not visited their kingdom since Sombra arrived there.
- Has a strained relationship with her daughter. Silver looks much like her love, so it was hard for Celestia to connect with her when she was still grieving.
- Silver Heart has a lot of health issues from Celestia prolonging her pregnancy. She was very sick as a foal and still struggles with many heath problems, and probably will for her whole life. Celestia has a lot of guilt from this.
- Has a strained relationship to her nephew, and somewhat Luna. She has started to close herself off more and more as year go by.
