before i begin i want to state that mermares as a species has two different colored irises in each eye for better sight or something. (i know thats not how it works)
born about 21 years predating lunas banishment she was coronated at the age 7 instilling a new age of peace in Atomis. despite her young age and stubbornness she is a quite competent leader. she rules with a proportional system of discipline, earned trust, and kindness. when she was little she thought her talent was her ability to control the waves changing it between high tide and low tide. when she was six she got her cutie mark by taming an angry and very destructive leviathan and relized she could commune with not just the sea but the creatures within. she didn't see her cutie mark until she was back inside when she had her back legs again. soon she made the leviathan her pet naming him Twinkle because of the way his eyes shine in the depths. she has made Twinkle the protector of city like a seven hundred ton gaurd dog.

the cutie mark appears to be a small wave followed by a larger wave.
Princess leviathan has to change the tide three times a day by (flying up) above the city and casts a spell only she can cast.
