OC Commission: Blueberry Sunrise
This little commission was put on hold for more than 3 months because I was in another country. Man, it was refreshing to come back to the States and finish what I started, but I wish that I was back in New Zealand. I started this piece when I returned home from a season in Oregon, and consulted lapqmzla-> on what would be cool to do on his next commission. Since he brought up the fact that I haven't really done a standalone piece for his OC, Blueberry Kush, I came up with a few ideas, and we settled on this. It's been a while since I've created the Floating Island motif for these characters, but I think it went well with the snowbound landscape. Also, the building in the background is a throwback reference to the interior of this piece:
