Seeking revenge for the humiliating defeat she and her sisters endured at the Battle of the Bands, Adagio Dazzle managed to stumble across a new source of Equestrian magic that not only restored her powers, but also altered her human body to partly resemble her true siren form.
After being fully powered up, Adagio set out to enact vengeance against the one who stripped her of her magical amulet: Sunset Shimmer. Fortunately for Sunset, she'd been anticipating the return of her old foe for quite some time and lured her to the sushi restaurant she was currently working part-time at. The irony of the setting wasn't lost on Adagio, whose resolve to eliminate Sunset only increased; but Adagio's anger and stubbornness proved to be her undoing, as she was oblivious to the booby trap she'd stumbled right into. With one swift move, Sunset dodged one of Adagio's blows and shoved her right into a sushi-wrapping assembly line. The siren had no time to react as she found herself completely tangled in a cocoon of thick seaweed and rice, and her mouth was also tightly wrapped up with seaweed to keep her from using her hypnotic powers. Once the assembly line had finished its work, Adagio unceremoniously collapsed onto the floor in a wriggling heap. Sunset triumphantly placed one boot on Adagio's hip, which emitted an enraged snarl from the Dazzling's gagged lips.
"Well, that about wraps things up, don't you think?" Sunset jested with a smirk.
Adagio rolled her eyes, finding no humor in her rival's pathetic joke or the predicament she landed herself in.
