Part eight of Broken Wings, in which Alex tells Lightning Dust his life's story, and the disgraced pegasus responds with a difficult admission of her own.

Well, I thought I'd perfected the hair simulation in the last page, but it turned out even better in this sequence with a couple more tweaks.
\
There were a heck of a lot of challenges that I ran into while creating this pages. In particular, the graveyard scene took me a long time to model, and the posing for the "hoof-holding" scenes took a lot of fiddling before I got it to look natural.
\
If I'm not mistaken, this is the longest sequence I've done yet, but believe me, I'm just getting started. The story only gets more intense from here.
