), yet again, gave me another great idea for Aurora! In her character description, I had thought of giving her a pet or an assistant, and Icey thought, why not a vulture? Especially to stay on theme with her death motif, and I thought it made so much sense! I specifically wanted her to have an assistant/pet to help her with her bone collecting hobby, as she might not be able to locate smaller bones on her own. So, why not let a vulture help her with that task!

☆ Aurora's pet is a female Black Vulture she named “Nyx”.

☆ In the first illustration at the top, Dove Dreamcatcher was the one to give her Nyx as a chick. Dove is an ornithologist and owns a bird sanctuary. She's had it since she was young and has been an expert at birds as a kid too. That's why, even though Dove was just 16 at the time, she was knowledgeable and capable of giving Aurora a bird for her 15th birthday. Btw, Dove is an alternative identity for Helios, Celestia and Concord's kid. I will leave links at the end of this description so y'all can learn more about her. Anyway, because of their royal relations (they're cousins), they were fairly close. Especially when they were younger. Aurora is a curious wanderer and loved hanging out with others she knew and trusted, like family and family friends. She mainly likes being in different environments. So, visiting Dove’s sanctuary was always a wonderful experience. Hearing the plethora of birds singing and flapping around her and the soft brush of feathers when they perched on her shoulders, arms, hands and or head (lol) was always fun. I'm sure, because of that, Aurora wanted a bird of her own, and Dove willingly fulfilled those wishes.

☆ The second illustration at the bottom depicts current day Aurora (she's 20) with an older Nyx. She's rocking that whimsical goth look (and of course the outfit idea was taken from Pinterest, lol X]). Though she looks pretty tall. She's not really. Dove it just short lol XP. Aurora in human or anthro form would be somewhere between 5'4ft and 5’5ft. She's also very slim, and now rocks the jellyfish haircut X]]].
