Lore/context:

Having an unusually wacky personality, the little Watercolor had an unusual idea one Xmas: be stuffed into a stocking by her parents a couple times, to be picked up by each of her older siblings Purple Trail & Strawberry Cocoa, the point being she's their Xmas present.

Which is interesting, especially when considering she subconsciously fears the latter sibling to a very high degree, due to her/his very powerful magic (for a Unicorn), so powerful that even as an adult she couldn't start to comprehend.

Oddly enough, she loves to perform the full transformation for seemingly no reason, which is as destructive to anyone/anything else as you can imagine; the Clan's psychologists reason that although she's aware everyone in the family is special is some way, in some way she thinks hers is even more special, and she's extremely proud to have that power => she can't help being impressed by it.

Which would align perfectly with her later dedication to the Clan and the Clan's mission, 2nd only to Strawberry Cocoa's dedication. Borderline fanatical levels of dedication, both of them.

To be fair, her transformation is unusual even by the Clan's standards, since she's 1 of the only ones to ever have it in the sub-1000 years of the Clan's existence.

Just like everyone her age, she might not realize that repeatedly performing the transformation gets her a deeper understanding to the ability, so performing it sneakily improves her control+understanding it until she realizes that's what happening.
