this pony is Pumpkin Spice, their gender is supposed to be unknown/ambiguous, so you could use any pronouns on em. (For convenience, i'll refer to Pumpkin with they/them pronouns)
They're not insane, they're just evil and delusional.
Convinced that the world is in peril, Pumpkin Spice has trained their natural earth pony strength and used it against fellow ponies. They have a strong "survival of the fittest" mindset and is convinced that food is scarce and the only way they could survive is to eat others.
They had killed and cannibalized many, ponies tried to hunt them down but they managed to escape capture and fled far away from their home.
To this day, they are still alive... Waiting for their next victim.
