Tempest is the Storm Kings Lieutenant in the 2017 My Little Pony: The Movie and is voiced by the spectator Emily Blunt!

Tempest was hardened, from her once innocent past, by those she once loved and trusted. They abandoned her after her sacrifice, alienating her and leaving her behind, after she stepped forward when no one else would. Which ended with her horn broken and her magic not as coordinated or strong..

She decided to leave her village and grew stronger on her own.. Slowly growing colder with every step. When the Storm King swore to bring her horn back, she did not hesitate to join his team.. 🖤🖤

Did you know that Tempest was originally going to be a male alicorn pony named Cosmos!? He/she wasn’t even going to be an antagonist! The original plan was to have the character be a wild pony who left Equestria to be on their own path, and who had prosthetic limbs which were considered to be parts of other animals 🙃 CRAZINESS!!
