The MLP comics had an arc early on called Reflections, where heroes were villains and villains were heroes. So why not do one featuring Novo? In the Reflections universe, she is not the stern, sassy, and kind Queen we know her as. Instead, she's a cold, ruthless warlord bent on conquest with her vast hippogriff/seapony army! Using a Dark Pearl that grants her immense power, she'll scheme her way to the top, and if that doesn't work, she'll implore more vicious methods.
Though at the same time, this version of Novo has to keep a watchful eye on Skystar, her treacherous daughter who wants power just as much as her mother, even if it means trying to take it all for herself! Would be interesting seeing how Novo would interact with her evil alternate universe self."
