Description:

Hey everyone,

You know that feeling when you get an idea out of nowhere, and just have to run with it?

Yeah, it happened again.

In a nutshell, I was thinking of my deer character, Birch, and after reading her bio again, I remembered that she had a daughter, namely, Hawthorn.

Now those of you who remember the post that features Birch will immediately notice that Hawthorn here has a few things in common with her mother, most noticeable being the eye colour and the colour of the mane, along with the gold ring acting as a hair band.

Additionally, this young doe takes her bicolor wings and lighter colours from her long-lost father, Poplar- a peryton stag that disappeared during a routine foraging expedition, and is presumed long dead by this point.

Hawthorn lives in Ponyville with her mother, and despite being considered a young adult¹ by her tribe, she is attending the School of Friendship to further her education before choosing what she wants to do with her life².

As to her personality, she tends to be calm, quiet and has a sweet disposition, a born optimist who wants to see the best in everyone she meets. As sweet as this young lady generally is, however, she is NOT naive or easy to take advantage of. She has learned an awful lot from her battle-hardened mother³ about self defense, discipline, and some oratory skills to go with it.

Her flight skills, while still in the process of being honed to , are progressing well for a young doe of her age, with the typical exceptional airborne agility that perytons are known for, with the usual middling levels of speed.
