Fruitless research is a scientist-

She has the goal of researching something which nopony has before,
and after countless days of frantically brainstorming, she finally found her subject.
There were no books about it, and she knew she could achieve the noteriety of being the first.
She was going to research dragons.
Because information was so scarce,
she knew it wasn't going to be easy.
But she's heard of Princess celestia's protégé and her scaley little friend.
And she planned to conduct some research.
And nothing would ever be too far.
