Time for Then and Now! Back then, when Mistmane was young, she lived in an unnamed village and was best friends with a unicorn named Sable Spirit. One day, while she was away at school, her friend grew jealous and became different in appearance. This led to Mistmane confronting her and fight her in a duel. Mistmane successfully defeated Sable Spirit, but knew she must change things for the better, so she released all of her beauty and turn herself into a kind, elderly pony and bring peace back to her village. Now, as a pillar, Mistmane has joined forces with five other ponies, Star Swirl, Somnambula, Flash Magnus, Mage Meadowbrook and Rockhoof. Together, they defend Equestria and protect other ponies and all kind, fighting for freedom.
