I have done something remarkable!
I have had this in my mind for so long, but now it's time to tell you!
The protectors of Equestria, the Guardians of Harmony, otherwise known as the Mane Six, are now Alphabet Lore-styled letters!

Each of the Mane Six is a different type of letter!
Princess Twilight Sparkle is the letter X! >>3147746
Rainbow Dash is the letter L! >>3147747
Applejack is the letter M! >>3147752
Pinkie Pie is the letter P! >>3147748
Fluttershy is the letter B! >>3147750
Rarity is the letter E! >>3147753

Reasons for the Mane Six being letters:
X from Alphabet Lore is the most powerful of the letters thanks to his ninja skills, and has a partially pale purple color scheme, and Twilight happens to be the most powerful of the Mane Six due to her alicorn physiology and she is also colored purple.
P from Alphabet Lore is a pink and happy letter who loves to bounce and Pinkie Pie is the same way.
M from Alphabet Lore is the powerhouse of the letters and the muscle and Applejack is the strongest of the Mane Six aside from Twilight.
B from Alphabet Lore has butterfly traits to him and is timid, and Fluttershy has butterflies as her cutie mark, is very timid and she can fly just like B.
E from Alphabet Lore appears to be good-looking and attractive and is calm most of the time, and Rarity is very much the same way.
L from Alphabet Lore is a very arrogant jerk who has redeeming qualities and Rainbow Dash can be an arrogant jerk as well.

I even added a rainbow background in this!
The Mane Six all still retain their pony traits and their cutie marks.
This crossover could be called "My Little Alphabet: Spelling Friendship"!
It might be set in an AU where all the ponies are different types of letters (yes, that includes non-ponies too)!
