I really still have no idea what to do with her mane actually. And yes, it was not a special wood for pyrography, I've just pick up some random chunk around, because I've just wanted to try. Didn't even expected that I can do at least this. Didn't touch pyrography device for years, literally. It was made before 2000 year... And this device heated like it was Daybreaker herself inside, because I felt how skin melts on my fingers even at 20% power.
