"Ugh," Grim groaned, "Wh- What happened? Did the spell work?"

"As intended," she heard, in her own voice.

Grim's eyes shot open. She could see herself, her own body, standing right in front of her, causing her to recoil in surprise. "What the bl- Minacious?"

"In the flesh!" 'Grim' laughed, "Or, should I say, in your flesh."

"H-how? What are you doing in my body? The spell-"

"Who do you think wrote that spell but I?" Minacious chuckled, then moving to stroke their chin, "Though, your soul was supposed to end up trapped in the flaming corpse..."

"You were going to kill me!?" Grim screamed.

"Goodness no!" Minacious replied with a short laugh, "You would've been very alive and conscious in there until nothing but ashes remained. Or forever. One or the other, I never bothered to check, haha."
