Windy's smile changed into a worried frown when she heard her daughter's sad tone

Windy: Oh, dear... You don't sound very happy... What's the matter, my little angelcake?

Scootaloo: Sighs sadly The trip was a waste of time... By the time we got to Canterlot, a water pipe had bursted... So, that meant we couldn't get to see the parade...

Windy: Awwww.... What a shame... Well, never mind, there's always next time...

Scootaloo walked over and she and her mom shared a loving embrace

Scootaloo: Sniffing Oh, Mom... Why did today have to go all wrong...?

Windy: Shhhh..... There, there, sweetie... Sometimes, we have good days, sometimes we have bad days... But remember this, even if things don't turn out okay today, there's always tomorrow. Every cloud has a silver lining. And if you need somepony to talk to and share a hug, then I'm always there for you, along with your father and sister.

Scootaloo starts leaking of happiness as she hugged her mother even more

Scootaloo: Thanks, Mom... You're the best...

Windy: You're welcome, my little Scootaloo.

Scootaloo is adopted by Bow Hothoof and Windy Whistles after her original family pass away.
