He didn't turn out like his brother Legolas, who was a great warrior and sharp leader, Lögölas just got kicked out from Elfpolis because he wasn't interested in anything useful, he refused to function in a elf community. He used his time to sneak the most colorful clothings and he was the only one in his own organization "Orc invasion sympathizers" The reason for this was because he felt like that elves weren't interested in him, so maybe Orc would have gave him some credit for helping them to destroy the elven way of life.
