A reference sheet for my OG original character is finally out! First of all shout out to her amazing designer Suramii who as my dear friend (inactive now) designed this beautiful bat pony for me in 2018. I also copied her style of reference sheet that she did for her cute pony Cuddy which you can see here as a way of connecting to her from the past.
On that note I would also love to thank amazing cutie mark designer tinuleaf that I commissioned. She truly fulfilled my wants of Ryolit having a cutie mark as a reference to my favorite video game Life Is Strange (in other words - tornado and butterflies as allusion to butterfly effect and chaos theory). I put a lot of myself into this pony so I wanted to write her story one day as well.

At the moment I am learning more and more about My Little Pony lore to get the best idea of keeping her canon. I literally want to be the opposite of myself from 2017 who decided that her first original character will be an "Mary Sue" alicorn who is a sister of Princess Cadence with no story (sorry Dragon Heart).
After I am done with my research about bat ponies and getting the idea where I want to put Ryolit (which I think she will be the same age as Mane 6 so that she can be able to meet all the ponies from the show especially Princess Luna that she adores) I will be posting more content and later on come up with some backstory and her family (her mom is already designed in my head, just need to put it on paper).

In honor of Suramii I am very motivated to write everything down and create amazing lore for my pony and draw more bat ponies since she "infected" me with love to them.
You can still expect me to draw some other vectors with ponies from the show, I am just very excited to continue with bats!
