Alone by the Coast
Fluttershy: Finally some time to myself, away from it all...
Boring Dev Notes:
It's been the best part of 10 months or so since my last mainline piece of art, a combination of poor health and life generally getting in the way throughout 2023 meant that I spent quite a long time away from Blender in general. With the start of 2024 I wanted to change that and to get back into things I wanted to make something completely different from my usual fetishy stuff I tend to make.
I wanted to experiment and test my skills so I decided to make an outdoorsy scene as it would force me to try and engage with lighting and not play things safe. I wanted to push boundaries but at the same time not make something overly complicated that would take me 300 years and lose motivation to finish it.
I thought for a change of pace I would make a basic recreation of the car park from Silent Hill 2 and see how I fared with that, and I'm rather pleased with how things turned out. I modelled basic geometry of the toilet block, brick walls and the pavement curbs then slowly pulled elements on top of that. This was mainly a technical exercise to prove to myself that I can still half decent stuff if I push through the periods of low motivation.
Going through my catalogue this is practically the first piece I have made that is outdoors and also the first image that is SFW, imagine that? First time for everything. This image took me roughly 2-3 weeks working on it every other day for a few hours so this wasn't a particularly heavy project, and I'm very glad I managed to finish it!

Special thanks to my pal Seltiox for assisting with a little easter egg, and Severity Gray allowing providing use of their OC in my works.
Thankyou to all my fellow artist friends who helped me get through trying times and made me believe in myself to get back into making art once again :)
