Zipp: Misty? What are you doing here?

Misty: me? Well um… I was just wondering around and uhh-

Zipp: wait? Were you following me?

Misty: what!? No of course not why would you think that?

Zipp: you seemed very nervous when we got here? What are you hiding?

Misty: it’s nothing Ok! I’m just uhh…. Gonna leave now ok eheh…

Zipp: “blocks her way” oh no your not! Your not going anywhere until you tell me what your secret is!

Misty: it’s nothing! Really I’m just “gets backed up to the bookshelf”

Zipp: what are you hiding Misty!? Spill it!

Misty: I- uhh… well uuhh…?
“overwhelmed with questions and couldn’t handle it” it’s just…. It’s just….

Zipp: it’s what!? Tell me right now!

Misty: “tearing and starting to reach her breaking point” I- I… !

Zipp: you better spill it Misty! What are you-

Misty: I’VE BEEN WORKING FOR OPALINE!!

Misty: yes! You heard me! I’ve been working for the dark Alicorn named Opaline, isn’t that too much to ask!?

Zipp: wait? You mean the dark Alicorn that Twilight warned us about!? Your working for her!? Why!?

Misty: it’s just that…. “Couldn’t get the words” I’ve been trying capture Sparky and steal his fire for her to regain her power!

Zipp: you’ve been what!? Capturing Sparky!!?

Misty: I know I’m sorry! I’m only trying to do what Opaline says and she wanted to have the Dragon fire from him!

Zipp: so all this time you have been working with an evil Alicorn and you’ve been lying to us!?

Misty: “gulp” well…. I-

Zipp: How could you do this to us!? After all the others done for you! And this is what you’ve been doing all this time!? Running off somewheres, haven’t called in, and always hiding! You know what I knew I wouldn’t trust you when we first met! I thought you were just a normal pony who’s been awfully quiet all the time! And- huh? “saw Misty getting upset” Misty?

Misty: “starts crying”

Zipp: a-are you crying?

Misty: “whimpering” “ turns away”

Zipp: alright, I know your only faking that so you can fool me again- “saw tears running down her face” wait? Are you….? You actually crying?

Misty: y-you were right about me “hic” I’m not a real friend to trust “sniff” T-The reason why I’ve done all those things to catch Sparky is because…. Because-

Zipp: because what?

Misty: because I wanna earn my own cutie mark

Zipp: w-what are you talking about? You have it right there, See?

Misty: “shows Zipp the cutie mark but turned out to be fake”

Zipp: wait? It’s fake?

Misty: “sniffle” t-that’s because I’ve been doing all of this so Opaline could give me my own cutie mark… I guess I was wrong “sniff” b-but every time I fail, she gets angry with me and starts yelling at me and punishes me for not doing anything right! “Sobs”

Zipp: oh my gosh…. M-Misty, I-I never knew you had to go through all that just for one cutie mark?

Misty: “sniff” You wouldn’t understand Zipp, you wouldn’t trust me anyways just because you think I’m evil, I’ll just go now, just tell the others I won’t participate tonight “sniffling”

Zipp: Misty wait I-I’m sorry! I-I didn’t mean to be a bit too hard you I was just-

Misty: just leave me alone! “Runs off crying”

Zipp: No wait! Misty! “Runs after her” Misty! “Looks around for her” “sighs” what have I done “founds the book she was looking at” “still feels bad for herself”

Misty: “hiding” “sniff” Opaline’s gonna kill me

“Cut to where they begin the show”

Sunny: Everypony ready?

Pip: you know I am

Izzy: all set to go! “Realises” hey? Where’s Misty?

Sunny: yeah? Isn’t she supposed to be here with us?

Zipp: uhh…. I’m sure she’s in the castle somewhere, I’ll go get her “runs off to find her”

Pip: well they better hurry the shows about to start soon

Meanwhile….

Zipp: “finding Misty” Misty! Misty! Misty where are you? “Looking all over the castle” “Thoughts: dang it Zipp! How could you be so stupid! How could you be so hard on that pony who’s been living with a dark alicorn who has been treating her so miserably! This is all my fault! I still have to find her!” Misty! “Then spotted Misty leaving” Misty! “Flies outside to stop her” Misty wait! Where are you going?

Misty: what’s it look like I’m going home to the dark castle where I belong “sniff” you wouldn’t trust me anyways

Zipp: Misty wait! I’m sorry! Look just let me-

Misty: NO! just “sniff” leave me alone, I don’t deserve any friends anyways

Zipp: “felt so guilty”

Misty: and I’m guessing you told the others about my secret?

Zipp: “sighs” No I didn’t tell them

Misty: “about to leave” “haults” w-what?

Zipp: look Misty, if you would just listen to me for once ok? Look I’m sorry if I was a bit too hard on ya after you told me about everything, like where you were working for a dark Alicorn and trying to capture Sparky but…. I see why you’re doing all of this just to earn a cutie mark, but Misty you don’t have to listen what Opaline says to you to do all these unfair tasks, maybe there could be a chance out there that you can actually earn your cutie mark for real, but this is not the right path to go on to earn a cutie mark

Misty: “sniffle” how would you know?

Zipp: “sighs” just…. come here “hugs”

Misty: huh? W-what are you?

Zipp: listen nopony gets to be alone like this, and you’ve been a good friend to us Misty, I know you were scared to tell us the truth about it, but now I understand why your being left out all this time, cause your special Misty, and you meant well and you’ll always be our friend,

Misty: “crying” “hugs back” t-thank you Zipp, you don’t know how much this means to me, I’m really sorry for lying to you all “sniffs” will you forgive me?

Zipp: “embraces the hug” of course, I’m sorry too Misty, now come on let’s head back in for the show, the others are waiting for us

Misty: the show! Come on we have to hurry “runs ahead”

Zipp: “smiles” wait up for me!
