An early memory of the mlp fandom was when everyone used to collect the early blind bags as that was the only merch at the time. (I still have a few)
They were infamous for either using a different character mold for a character it clearly was not or inaccurate colors fluttery having RDs mane or Ceseltia being bright pink for some reason XD.
That's essentially where this illustration came from.
