Princess Luna was once again, fulfilling her duty of protecting ponies in their dreams, but this night in particular was slow. Not many ponies had nightmares and that put Luna's mind at ease. Seeing as how there was only a short time for Celestia to awaken and raise the sun, Luna felt she should turn in early herself. However, she remembered someone she inadvertently made friends with in one dream she went into, the hypnotic python known as Kaa. Flying towards the Everfree Forest, where they first met by the statue of Nightmare Moon. Luna found Kaa, the two talked for a while and Luna showed the tiredness in her eyes. Kaa saw this and before he could make his move, Luna interrupted by asking him to help her sleep by using his power on her. This took Kaa back for a moment, asking why she's willingly wanting this. Luna told him she has not been sleeping well as of late and felt that with tonight there being no nightmares to destroy, she could finally get a good nights rest, plus, she felt her and Kaa had become friends after their other encounters. So without hesitation, Kaa performed his hypnosis on Luna, Luna fell rather quickly and soon found herself drifting off to sleep. Kaa wrapped up the lovely moon princess until she was full encased in his coils, resting her head slightly to the side against them. Kaa had planned on this being the time he would devour Luna, but hearing her say she sees Kaa as a friend, he went against it, promising to himself he'll keep Luna safe as she sleeps and return her to Canterlot before the sun rises, to avoid suspicion from Celestia. Luna was enjoying her good nights sleep, a light smile forming on her to show this as she was brought up into Kaa's tree to rest and be ready for the next day.

Okay yeah I took to writing a mini-fic for this one, don't normally do this but hey, gotta try new things. And I guess you can call this picture a sequel to this I did a while back.
