Hello again, its Me:tm: once again.
I haven't posted on here in a few weeks out of sheer laziness. But I drew my 2 (two) oc mares again.
I've never drawn Bloona without her Sub Zero Suit on before actually, so I've never drawn her body-pattern or cutie mark before. Wapa said somethin' about wanting to draw everyone who plays on the tf2 servers ocs so I decided to draw a prequel to that Bloonacorpse drawing I did this year with her painting the skeleton pattern on.
I was asked why she isn't using her magic and my response was that I prefer to draw poni using hooves/mouth grips when possible because it makes the poses more dynamic, and I dont think that drawing was very dynamic at all given its a sitting 3/4ths pose. I do think the qt mark came out ok. Its a combination of the icons for the Rainblower's Armaggedon tauntkill, the Pyro's class emblem and the Camp Fire achievement icon. Hopefully its not overcomplicated. Wanted a cutie mark with potential benign interpretation instead of an outright violent one that makes you wonder how they got it as a filly.
There was a long period where I was focusing more on a personal pony worldbuilding project. I think I've mentioned it before. I wanted to draw but I also only wanted to draw because I didn't want to write, Which I considered a shitty reason to draw, but after 3 weeks I was worried about my art skills rusting and getting burnt out on writing.
Then my hands started hurting really badly so I took a break from drawing, writing and gaming for a bit, then an area internet outage went out, so I hung out with relatives for a day instead and dogs dug up an internet cable, and my hands still kinda fuckin' hurt, improvin' slowly though, i think.
This draw of Whaletail is a redraw of the first one I did, since I mentioned I didn't like it cause everyone interpreted it as a "standing on her hindlegs" pose instead of a "swimming" pose. Kakapo and Cows gave me some useful sketches to work out details on the pose, was nice of them.
Soon:tm: I will continue working on that worldbuilding document, I'm about 15 pages in, though I'm still trying to resolve some problems with it. I also intend to make an additional mare at some point in the future potentially, could be fun.
