Hi hi!! Happy Halloween everybody!! Or rather, happy Nightmare Night! : D. I had other plans for the halloween drawing i wanted to do this year but i ended up with this instead C: plus a tiny story!. Gosh i need to do some lighter stuff for the AU later.

Twilight opened the door to her library, the sun up in the sky and its rays greeting her as well as her friends, a new wonderful day surrounded by wonderful people. Spike waddling around her hooves trying to not trip over some of her infinite lists of what-to-do’s , the sound of laughter and the ruffle of wings coming over from Rainbow and Pinkie, Rarity telling Applejack and Fluttershy about a new design idea for a dress. Just like it was supposed to be.

Until, it wasn’t.

The beautiful sunny day turned into sudden darkness, the moon eclipsing the sun. The voices of her friends sounding so far away, until they were lost in a flurry of whispers. Twilight felt the touch of dark blue feathers around her, caressing her cheeks warm and familiar, until they became coarse and dark, like the feathers of a crow. Cruel laughter and a pair of eyes in the darkness, glowing and fixed on her, she felt the darkness around her, suffocating her.

And then Twilight woke up, her feathers ruffled and her hair a mess, chills running down her spine. She turned her head up to the window besides her bed, the stars shinning bright and the moon high up in the sky, what would had been a beautiful sight in the past now was a horrible reminder that she was in a never-ending nightmare.
