Description:
Ahh, that time of year. In that brief window of time when snow falls upon these isles to such a degree that it actually remains rather than melting into disappointing slush. Such an unforseen event sends the climate-obsessed British into a frenzy of Panic buying, motorway jamming and complaining about global warming/not enough gritters on the roads. (This being snow that much more wintry countries wouldn’t bat an eyelid at, you understand, but it’s our way :P)
And so, in honour of this momentous and opportune time of the year, have a Snow Britannia. Or a Cool Britannia if you will.
My apologies to her Ladyship I do realise there are some rather large uniform inaccuracies on display here but we were rather time restricted and had to make do and mend ‘
(This is quite all right. One can sympathise and indeed commend your improvisation under the circumstances. I myself once had to hold off a gang of particularly unpleasant pirates in the South Seas using a large quantity of hard-tack biscuits, a length of rope and a rather uncooperative lobster before I managed to get hold of some real weapons. But as for the topic at hoof, as far as snow-effigies go it certainly isn’t a bad effort. Well done and keep safe in the snow, everyone.
~Britannia)
