The Witches, from holy goddesses to regular ol’ humans.
Some quick notes, Celestia and Luna are not human, but deities from the magic world. Their anatomy is different, as made evident by their multiple faces. Celestia has four, one that displays her resting self, one that presenting sadness, another that presents anger, and the last that we pray never opens its eyes. Luna only has two, the backside presenting ‘Nightmare Moon’.
Humans can learn the practice and art of magic. Those who find their calling earn a formal witch title. Those who perform nobly in service to Canterlot are ordained Canterlot names, recognized by its denizens and considered a part of Celestia and Luna’s court of witches.
