i thought of this idea last Friday when i was on the bus & thought this would be a good opportunity to experiment a little bit, specifically with the crosshatching technique. i've been wanting to try the technique out for a while (since i was taught about it at college in about 2015, 2016 or 2017) but never really felt confident to try it with anything (last time i tried was a couple of year ago with a picture of Tikal but although the picture was good(-ish), the technique was well off) & so i got the idea of practicing it with a picture i didn't have to worry about being 100% perfect when i do it. what also kind of helps is looking up crosshatching & understanding (what i can) how it works.

i also don't draw a lot of Rainbow Dash so that's something too.
