Timber didn’t immediately reply back to her selfie, which Twilight expected. Still she was a tad anxious to know what he thought of her new hairstyle.

Ever since Rarity had chopped a decent chunk of her hair off for her photoshoot, Twilight had been experimenting with a variety of looks, hoping to find something as suitable as her beloved ponytail. It wasn’t until the night before when Twilight caught herself in the mirror, mindlessly pulling the top part of her shortened hair up into a small bun as the bottom half gently brushed against her shoulders.

Now with a whole new look that Twilight felt quite content with, she was eager to show it off and see what everyone else thought. Normally, she wouldn’t be as invested in something as trivial as this. But she was still curious. At the very least, she wanted to see Timber’s reaction.

And soon enough she did. Timber replied back. Not with words, but with his own blushing emoji and a heart.
Twilight giggled, blushing as she texted him back. “You’re such a goofball.”
