One of six main characters from a horror fanfic I’m writing. I absolutely suck at drawing, so I used Pony Town to design my characters.

Jagged Prism is an older teenage/young adult unicorn mare with a purple coat and blue eyes. She has a silky, periwinkle mane with bright magenta highlights. She wears small pearl earrings on her ears. Her cutie mark depicts a prism refracting a beam of light. She was born with two horns. Both have full magical ability, allowing her to perform two spells simultaneously with ease. Unicorns have been known to be able to cast two spells at once, though this is something that requires immense concentration. With this same concentration, she can therefore hypothetically cast four spells at once. She has never been able to do this, however. Upon arrival in Ponyville, she is taken in by Twilight Sparkle.

Prism is very light-hearted, and often attempts to get laughs out of others. She speaks with informal, humorous language, and she will also stutter a bit. She is quite awkward and a bit clumsy, feeling uncomfortable and self-conscious around strangers, and this causes her to struggle with finding new friends. Once she feels comfortable enough however, she begins to laugh along with them. She enjoys long, engaging, and emotional conversations with her friends, and often lets others know how she’s feeling. She has a small attention span, and therefore she gets bored easily. This unfortunately causes her to appear apathetic, angsty, and overdramatic occasionally.

Prism has an interest in film and photography, having a keen eye for color and scene layout. In her spare time, she will also attempt to photograph for news outlets, as she also enjoys gossip and local news. She has an extensive magical knowledge and ability due to her studies, but doesn't care much for the practice, despite carrying enormous magical potential. She doesn't mind her deformity, but she doesn't like it when others call attention to it; she just wants to be treated like a normal pony.

Prism is one of the six deformed ponies born at NEverCHEM. She and her friends spent their whole fillyhoods there, where they underwent incessant, retrospectively unethical, laboratory studies and physiological experiments. When they were all old enough, they unified and left the medical facility they called home, once they believed they bore the legal right to. They have since been travelling around Equestria, visiting villages and towns, looking for a safe place to start a new life together. They had no idea NEverCHEM wouldn’t let them go so easily.
