The mentors and idols of the Last Lot. Don't worry, I won't be reusing old characters for EVERY pony in the G5 rewrite, there'll be some new folks too. Besides, if I did reuse a bunch of G3 characters, we'd have a lot of women. Unless I took a peek back into G1 and G2 but that's not the point.

So! Cherry Blossom! Through the generations Bridlewood has appointed Unicorns to care for the Unity Crystal and lead Unicornkind under the title Countess. Countesses also train other unicorns to protect the Unity Crystal as well, and these trainees are called Viscountesses. Cherry Blossom is the current Countess and the mentor to Kimono, and she's confident in her role and intends to do her job as intended. Perhaps you'd call her a perfectionist but she knows that perfection is impossible, however, that doesn't mean she won't try to get as close as possible.

Star Catcher is the Princess of Zephyr Heights, and a descenant from what was once the rulers of the Crystal Empire- hence the heart theme. It seems the adoration for crystals and hearts alike never left this family as Star Catcher is the protector of the Pegasi's Unity Crystal. She's a strong mare, intent on being the best Princess she can be to live up to her family, even if that means putting the world on her shoulders despite not being able to handle the weight. Determined, serious and self-reliant: Star Catcher may not realize it just yet, but soon the weight of the world won't be on her shoulders alone.

Skywishes, holder of the Earth Pony's Unity Crystal, is the current Mayor of Maretime Bay. She's kind and tries to be gentle with everypony, and has a particular soft spot for children. She finds herself secretly desiring that Unicorns, Pegasi and Earth Ponies become friends again- but she can't bring herself to do anything about it due to the pressure and growing hatred towards the former two from the rest of Maretime Bay. Skywishes spends a lot of time near her Unity Crystal hidden far underground, wishing upon the gemstone that one day somepony will bring all of ponykind back together... Little does she know, there's a little baker in town that has just that goal.

also yes star catcher and skywishes will still be very gay but you gotta wait for ponykind to not be racist fyi
