Star Tankist is a very young and very smol sphinx/unicorn hybrid, with her fur being black/very dark gray and her mane a pristine white. She has magenta eyes and has a leonine tail instead of a regular pony tail, showcasing the hybrid ‘Sphinx’ part on her. This tail is entirely prehensile and she often uses it to grab objects out of reach or bring ponies and things closer to her, and it ends with a very big tuft of luxurious fluffy white fur, extremely soft to the touch, silky and velvety. She more often than not tends to use her shrinking/growing powers to increase the size of her tail tuft and use it as an impromptu pillow/bed. Another Sphinx trait she presents is that she has hindpaws, instead of the regular hindhooves of normal ponies, her paws being soft, and fluffy, and the paw pads having the same white color as her mane and tail tuft, but she has regular fluffy hooves like any other pony. She also has a higher amount of fluffiness all over her body both due to the Sphinx lineage and from where she comes from (Colder environments where she originally lived). She also always has boxy glasses to aid her sight and binoculars that are corrected to her eyesight issues.

Despite being a filly, she’s very adventurous and carefree. Even then, she showcases quite a fair bit of personality traits suitable for little ponies, such as enjoying constant physical affection, playing around carelessly, overall innocence and filly-like excitement when seeing something she’s interested with. She loves tanks, aircraft, ships and other kinds of modern weaponry, though her main focus is armored fighting vehicles. She is slightly more knowledgeable than a regular pony in regards to military vehicles, but she’s nowhere an expert due to her young age.

Tankist is very sociable and often tries making new friends, either approximating her age, or past that, not having any issue in befriending ponies the age of Rarity if they happen to share similar interests. Despite this, she often tries to ‘mold in’ and avoids talking about her likings unless inquired about them, and even then she’ll be very vague at first, not wanting to bore others. Due to her kitty-like nature, she’s very hyperactive and very touchy-feely, often snuggling and cuddling closer to the ones she likes or befriended, and tends to nuzzle and lick them in feline affectionate gestures, sometimes becoming a bit of a personal space invader herself.

Interests:
Reading or listening about military technology overall, be it tanks, airplanes, ships or individual weaponry (Though tanks and artillery are the thing she likes most)
Befriending others and spending time with them, overall socializing is not an issue for her
Being petted, caressed or generally pampered like a kitty would.
Explosions (Of course she loves them, it’s a given when tanks are involved XP)
Hugs, cuddles, snuggles
Chocolate-coconut ice cream
Playing war-related games, particularly first person shooters which also allow you to drive tanks (Like Battlefield and the like). She’s surprisingly good at them despite her young age.
Travelling and having the opportunity to see and get on tanks This filly single-handedly has been responsible for 60% of the ‘Fillies that sneak inside a tank’ incidents, more often she doesn’t do anything but be marveled at the interior
Cold climates and winter overall (Despite her black coat she’s awfully good at blending in the snow)
Sleeping (I mean who doesn’t? XP)

Dislikes:
Being bullied/disliked by her interests
Hot climates (This often means she has to shed a bit of fur, otherwise she overheats)
Onions (For some unknown reasons she dislikes those with her soul)
Being sprayed (She is often subjected to this due to her cat nature. It is effective in persuading her but she obviously doesn’t like being all wet)

Random silly facts:

She was thrice caught sleeping inside a tank in a museum. Security guards opened the hatch only to find a huge white fuzzball belonging to her gigantic tail puft and the vague looks of a pony cuddling all of it. And once she was found sleeping in the roadwheels of an APC, somehow.

It’s most likely in her cat nature, but she doesn’t mind at all being in tight, small spaces. She definitely doesn’t have claustrophobia

She just considers herself an ‘enthusiast’ despite having a fair knowledge of tanks in general, more often than not she prefers not to brag, she just gets too excited when she can talk about her favorite things.

She often finds souvenirs in the forms of spent shell casings and tank parts randomly, probably out of pure luck due to anomalous properties of her Cutie Mark. She often shrinks them and brings them home where she has them as decoration (Legit she has a 88mm KwK 36 shell casing in her room)

Her favorite tank is the Panzerkampfwagen III Ausf. J/1, she even has a custom-made plushie of it to which she sleeps with.

The star in her Cutie Mark represents the American decal often used in WW2 in tanks or military ground vehicles like halftracks, and her name ‘Tankist’ seems to be a Russian way of referring to a ‘Tank Crew’ or ‘Tanker’. Her binoculars are based on German Panzerwaffe ones.

She can grow gigantic or tinier, in part due to her Sphinx biology and her unicorn capabilities (Sphinxes are more often than not gigantic magical things). Though she doesn’t know how to do many things with her horn other than basic levitation and making things grow-shrink, including herself.

One of her dreams is to get an autograph from Tenk Pone

Because of the softness of her tail, friends often sleep with it. Otherwise she sleeps with the tuft herself as a pillow, or makes the end gigantic and snuggles all of it like a soft bed.
