ATG Prompt: Draw a pony being pushed to their limit / Draw a pony about to break

(This is my little self-indulgent one with my OC... plus the two other ideas I had for today I found had already been done...several times)

Macrophage had had the thoughts before, and every time he'd pushed them down. Every time it got a little harder though. When he came here this was a form he'd made up, not trying to impersonate any specific pony. It was "him" as a pony, or as much as that was possible. Since the hive had pretty much forgotten about him, or probably assumed he was dead or captured there wasn't much going back. They'd sent him expecting one of those fates. It was how they got rid of those that somehow didn't measure up.

Sometimes the thought occurred to him, or to the persona he'd created.
"Everyone said be yourself, but what if nobody wanted that self?"

"Then you be the closest 'safe' self you can." was always the answer. But the more time went on, the worse the answer seemed.
