Brooke recently transferred from another city over the summer to Canterlot, and got enrolled into Canterlot High School. The other thing was, she was just a young high school freshmen, so she's never experienced the atmosphere of a high school before.

The first day of school comes, and the young girl is scared as she learns her way around. Being a freshmen and new student, she had orientation so she knew her way around already, the only thing now was, learning her new schedule and where her classes were. She has special accommodations due to Autism and learning disabilities so her parents had Principle Celestia show her around the school and what buildings they were, and requires extra support during class so that she understood what her assignment was. While most students don't really care about someone's strengths and weaknesses, a certain student that came from nowhere takes advantage of this and bullies anyone that crosses her path.

The student learned that Brooke is Autistic and requires special assistance, which resulted the student in targeting the poor young girl. That student was Sunset Shimmer, a mysterious girl that seemingly came from nowhere and knows nothing about the world's logic and all. When Brooke was walking down the hallway with her book in her arms, Sunset Shimmer immediately shoved the brunette against the locker doors and threatened her to not cross paths or there would be consequences.

This scares Brooke and she scurries away, Sunset telling her "Now get out of my sight, newbie!!". Brooke has had some bullying back in her old town before, but never like what Sunset did.

As she was walking down the hallway, a couple students that noticed Sunset Shimmer quickly walked away from her and panicked, one student with the big glasses throwing lunch money at Sunset. It was very clear that Brooke has to avoid Sunset at all costs and not interact or else, she would get the same treatment again.

This event takes place before the events of the Equestria Girls movie so Sunset Shimmer is a huge bully. Brooke would apologize to Sunset after Sunset redeems herself.

Trivia:

-I wasn't bullied or physically harassed irl during my high school years. Although I was mocked by the mainstream students in middle school and elementary school for my weird quirks, being the autistic person I am, I didn't realize they were bullying me, but I did tell my dad after one incident in middle school after I was made fun of for smelling my bread before eating it and I was told to simply ignore them if it was ever to happen again.

-I did transfer schools but that was when I was going into 6th grade that very summer. So I basically went to my old school from kindergarten to fifth grade, then transferred where I attended school from 6th grade until I graduated in 12th grade.

-My parents did have the then Vice Principle of my old high school individually show me around the school before my freshmen orientation started.

-I did have special accommodations during those school years, although by high school, they were very minimal. I was pretty much mainstreamed except for English and Math class. Although by Junior Year, I was almost completely mainstreamed and actually had to request a resource class period so that I could have assistance and finish up school work I couldn't get done in class.

-I use to always wear my hair up in ponytails and wore a sweatshirt with jeans, and tennis shoes.
