Description:
It was a move. Not a happy one, but as much as Nyotikid's kindness and mentoring and patience had sustained her, he was gone, and the village just wasn't.. wasn't her place. Of course it wasn't the land, the trees, the mountains, or the huts and shrines that were unfriendly (though Uk-ong hardly had the spirit eyes to see if this was so). The other Starkatteri would never accept her. They barely accepted each other, and even if there were a way to fix that at all, Uk-ong'ufa didn't know what that way was.
I'm finding that using undersaturated colours helps me not get too bogged down in the details.
My submission for day 1 was a really static pose; maybe not bad for starting out, but pretty derivative.
Today's attempted pose was a bit better, but really not living up to the motion suggested by the prompt, not to mention some off anatomy/perspective.
Sometimes I get too worried that I won't be able to come up with any idea for the prompt at all, and don't put enough energy into pushing for more than what I can do.
