Connected to the "Pile on Gramps!" and "Recollections" pictures, here's another family-photo-like drawing featuring the first pack Grandpa Gruff looked after, aka the parents of his "second group of grandchildren" (at least some of them, I couldn't fit them all). The old Griffon was more than delighted to see all of "his cubs" growing into such gracious Griffons and starting their own families. And since he looked after them, he looked after their descendants too. Some of them were trusted to him by their own parents (like Gilda's father) while some of them were found around town by him (like Gallus' parents). Grandpa Gruff's scar is not there on purpose as he hasn't gotten it yet. They're all supposed to look much younger here so neither of them has wrinkles. This picture of all of them together is quite a few years old and was taken probably less than a year (maybe even lesser) before "the accident". Those were simpler and happier times, especially for Grandpa Gruff…
