They wanted their character running through mount aris with their minion
the minion causes some sound that causes the hippogriff's to find them, they end up capturing the character and taking them to their queen who is very displeased to find an unicorn around her home land so she captures him as a seapony and than later on tempest shadow and twilight turn up to save him
I don't know either it makes no sense
