Description:
Ah the Chariot. Getting a couple of these very early on meant a quick win in the first Civilization games. What was I talking about? Right, ponies. The Chariot card is all about victory: assured, delayed, or stolen at the last second. It is also about fame and heroism. The SSCS6k was not my first choice, but I think it’s a very solid one.
In the eponymous episode, the SSCS6k was a machine of inevitable victory against the Apple family snatched away by the power of friendship and freely-given labor. It was also barely controllable, a juggernaut of unicorn magic-powered steam engines and diodes, a tool used by Flim and Flam but not fully understood. Much can also be speculated on the brothers’ sustainable business practices. Victory for the brothers was a given, but they didn’t seem to care about consequences – they’d be gone by the next sunrise.
And that’s really the point. The card has no expectation after the moment of victory or defeat either.
