It's been a long time coming...
Precisely half a year ago I posted a cel-shaded, work in progress version of this as a half-anniversary gift to my dear lovers.
Today, i post the full thing.
Today i post the result of me completely breaking my limits in terms of effort, creating what is undoubtedly my most complete piece so far. Even without a full background.
Many techniques were born here, many are now almost a signature of my work, and a lot of them started right here with this.
I hope it'll interest you enough to zoom in, look around, take the detail in, as i did for hours, days during production.

Damien, Alz. I honestly struggle to think of new ways to tell you how much I love you, or how much you mean to me, how much you've changed my life for the better and helped me keep it better, how you helped me change and grow into the person i am today. A more comfortable, more stable, less insecure man, brave enough to let his feelings out to the vast, seemingly empty void of the internet. You helped me overcome so much, over and over again, the only way i can think of that i can thank you with is, well... Being the best boyfriend i can be for you. Doing the same for you. And this- This is part of that plan. I hope you enjoy it as much and for as long as i have, patiently and delicately tuning everything in this picture to be perfect. For you.
This is our anniversary, and i'm glad i got to make it just a lil' more special.
