Anybody else SUPER stoked for the Super Mario Bros. movie coming this April?! The animation looks GORGEOUS and all-in-all I bet it'll be a fun time!

So, this crossover came to mind. My favorite Mario character is Boo. I even have a plush of him. He is just too adorable in all his ghostly-cuteness! I have a feeling, since Boos have a shy nature in most of the Mario games, that he and Fluttershy would actually get along as opposed to being mortal enemies like Luigi is to Boo.

And Bowser... hasn't changed much. I combined his design with Tirek's from My Little Pony and I actually think they blended quite well together. Very well, in fact! He was fun to fiddle with design-wise.

I also went back and forth as to who Mario would be. Applejack or Rainbow Dash? Both seemed fitting for the role, but I ultimately went with AJ since she's a good handy-mare who's good with tools... hence the plumbing side of Mario!

Anyway, I'm focusing more on my own original characters right now as I scour around for a literary agent. My illustrated books are going to take priority over my art channel, but I will still post here from time to time!
