“Thanks for the lift, Applejack. Hope it wasn’t a problem for you.”

“You kiddin’? This ain’t no different than herdin’ around cattle. Gotta admit, though. You are a lot heavier,” Applejack teased as she and Rainbow came to a stop near a light pole, giving the larger heavyweight a chance to catch her breath. “How you holdin’ up?”

“I’m alright. Just been a while since I really moved around this much,” Rainbow chuckled between her heavy breathing, trying to keep herself steady while her friend helped her through every tedious step. “Just watch it with the jokes, or I’m gonna make you haul my big fat butt back.”
\
“And miss out on all that cider? Nah, you wouldn’t.” Applejack winked as she jokingly smacked her friend’s bingo-winged arm.
\
Though Rainbow did initially feel bad that Applejack had to leave right after the wedding just to pick her up, she was pretty glad overall that she was able to make it. Not only were most of her friends there, but some refreshing cider sounded good right about now.
\
“So, where is that cider you promised, anyway?” Rainbow asked, looking around as much as her head could turn. “You kept gloating about it being the hardest stuff you made. And now that I’m finally here, I gotta try it.”
\
Now that Rainbow mentioned it, Rarity did say that she’d be waiting around with a couple of bottles ready. But she didn’t seem to be around. “I don’t know. Rarity was supposed to have a few drinks for us when we got here.”

“Hope she didn’t drink it all herself.”
\
Applejack scoffed. “C’mon. I know her,” she assured with a laugh. “I’m sure she wouldn’t-”

Cutting her off, however, was a familiar loud yet sing-songy voice coming not too far from behind them. “Applejaaack!”
\
Turning around ready to see her girlfriend, Applejack’s smiling face quickly became one of confusion. “R-rarity?”
\
Clumsily waddling her hefty body over while holding up an entire glass bottle of Applejack’s hardest cider yet, Rarity’s face flushed as she smiled and waved with the elegance of a newborn circus elephant.
\
“Having a good time, Rare?” Rainbow shouted out to the heavily-intoxicated young woman, trying to keep her laughter in check.
\
Just as she finally reached the two of them, Rarity nearly tripped over her own feet, nearly letting herself fall before catching herself onto her girlfriend’s bulky shoulder. “I’m having a great time now that… hic… now that you’re here, sugarcube,” she mumbled to Applejack as her face flushed with red and her breath smelled of alcohol.

Applejack could only chuckle upon seeing what her cider had done. “Well, now that I’m here, my darling,” she began to tease as she reached for the nearly-emptied bottle, “I think someone should take it easy for the rest of the night. How about we find you a place to lay down?”
\
“Oh, if you want to lay me down, by all means… hic… be my guest!” Rarity replied cheekily, blissfully unaware of how heavily she was leaning into her more provocative side.
\
“Uh-um… wh-what?” Applejack blushed nervously, completely caught off guard.
\
Meanwhile, as she watched Applejack getting all too flustered, Rainbow couldn’t help but laugh. “Hey, if you two need some alone time, you can go on without me.”
\
Suddenly, Rarity’s attention turned towards the larger of the two, seductively eyeing the far more massive figure before her. “Aw, come on, Dashie… hic… You can join us and be our big jiggly water bed.”

"RARITY!" Applejack loudly shushed, face turning redder by the second.
\
“Oh… kay…” Rainbow said as she threw up her eyebrows, laughing again to hide the second-hand embarrassment. “Probably time for a last call on the hard stuff.”
