Losing her leg and horn very early in her life sparked her passion for caring for the sickly. She harnesses healing powers from the sun, and channels it through her magical headpiece rather than her horn.
Because of this power, she needs to be in sunlight often to charge it up.

Sky is a very quiet pony, and manages to startle ponies by accidentally being too quiet to announce her presence. She doesn't talk much, preferring to listen to others much more.
