Story - Things Are So Shy Around Here

Summary: Fluttershy and Mrs. Shy visit Roger Williams Park in Providence, Rhode Island. However, they soon run into Vapor Trail (who is also visiting the same park as them), and they eventually take her with them so they can see the beautiful Victorian Rose Garden.

"Oh, I love it when you take the time and let me come with you, daughter." Mrs. Shy said, as she was thankful for her daughter, Fluttershy, bringing her along into the real world, where they are currently walking across a path filled with leaves in a park called Roger Williams Park, which is in Providence, Rhode Island.

"Pleasure as always, mother." Fluttershy replied, being just as shy as her mother is that they would be together again.

The two Pegasi ponies kept walking along the trail at Roger Williams Park, and both remained silent, smiling. However, when Fluttershy turned her head around, she wasn't paying attention, and her mother warned her, "Fluttershy, be careful where you are going ahead."

However, Fluttershy didn't pay attention and she bumped into another pegasus pony, Vapor Trail, who is somehow also visiting the park as they are.

"Oh, I'm sorry, I didn't mean to bump into you." Fluttershy apologized to Vapor Trail for not seeing her correctly.

"No, no, it's okay." Vapor Trail replied back, forgiving Fluttershy. "I'm just a shy pony, much like how you ponies are. I am visiting this park so I can see the Victorian Rose Garden."

"Why, that's where me and my daughter are gonna go see." Mrs. Shy told Vapor Trail that she and her daughter are also heading for the Victorian Rose Garden, hoping they can smell the flowers, something Fluttershy likes.

Vapor Trail, realizing they have the same thing now, decides she would join Fluttershy and Mrs. Shy on the journey to the Victorian Rose Garden. "I will join you." Vapor Trail told the two fellow wing ponies, as they all walked and visit the garden as a promise.

During the walk, Fluttershy asked Vapor Trail, "How come you are so shy like we are?"

"Like you, I can be so nervous and shy a lotta times with ponies around me and that I can get so scared sometimes." Vapor Trail replied, having similar personalities as Fluttershy and her mother, who both are the same as her.

"Yeah, but my friends told me that I must also stand up and be more brave and I've changed much since." Fluttershy said recalling the time when her friends wanted her to be more like a mare who can fight back.

Vapor Trail, understanding Fluttershy's words, said, "I believed I've been told the same. With us being so shy, we are the most nervous and cute ponies at the same time."

"Still, I admire you for sharing such kindness as my daughter, Vapor Trail." Ms. Shy told Vapor Trail, taking her as a friend for being so nice towards her daughter and also learning being shy isn't always going to make themselves comfortable.

"I really appreciate the compliment." Vapor Trail accepted Ms. Shy's words about her and Fluttershy having the same personalities.

"Hey, look, we've made it in time." Fluttershy pointed her hoof at the Victorian Rose Garden, which left Vapor Trail and Ms. Shy so surprised that they would be visiting a garden. "I've heard there's a garden at this place.

The three pegasus continued walking and go for the garden area. When the three pegasi ponies entered the garden, they looked thrilled seeing so much flowers around, such as roses.

"I can't believe we have made it." Vapor Trail said, trotting her way towards the flowers and smell the roses with her nose, which she finds fresh.

"Well, I did plan this as a surprise after all." Mrs. Shy told Vapor Trail and Fluttershy, as it was revealed that she took them to the gardens so they could see the beautiful nature where the flowers would blossom.

"Thanks a lot mother." Fluttershy hugged her mother with happiness that they would be visiting the garden together.

"Nothing could have been better aside from this, my dear beloved daughter." Mrs. Shy told Fluttershy, as she always thought about coming up with a place where she could take them best with a friend along.
