Story - Nothing But Rocks

Summary: The Pie Family visits Woodland Beach, Delaware, an unincorporated community. Limestone Pie (at least) is finally glad she sees rocks along the Delaware Bay.

"Aah, what a day to see the sunshine." Cloudy Quartz said, tilting head up, looking at the clear blue sky. "I am thrilled that together as a family, we'd be seeing this unique hot place and it'd be a blessing doing so."

"Finally, a place where there's rocks." Limestone Pie told her fellow sisters, seeing the rocks in front making her feel happy that they would be focusing on something dealing with rocks.

"I just love how the water is so warm out today..." Pinkie Pie said, taking a look at the fresh water nearby, enjoying the temperature coming from it.

Maud, Marble Pie and Igneous Rock looked at the rocks along with Limestone Pie, while Pinkie Pie kept on walking with Cloudy Quartz, seeing a house that goes along with the current area they are in.

"Father, do you believe we'd be safe standing on the rocks?" Maud Pie asked Igneous Rock, learning that while it is sometimes standing on rocks is fun, it can still be dangerous.

"Just as long as you keep balance and don't go into the water, everything will be just fine, darling." Igneous Rock told the Pie sisters except Pinkie Pie, reminding them for their safety.

"Hmph, like I'm afraid of going into the water." Limestone Pie boasted, feeling the water doesn't scare her, looking more brave from usual.

Igneous Rock began getting somewhat suspicious over Limestone's confidence about being fearless about the water. "Since when have I ever seen her with an attitude like that?" He wondered.

"Shouldn't we try sticking together so nopony gets left behind?" Maud Pie asked, since sticking together is important.

"Mh-hmm." Marble Pie responded, always using her usual catchphrase.

Back with Pinkie Pie and Cloudy Quartz, they are inside the house, taking a look, seeing furniture and objects around and over the place.

"Wow, whoever thought this place is filled with objects and furnitures?" Pinkie Pie asked her mother, can't help herself except keep looking at them. "I mean, there's a stove, couches, chairs, two tables, and plenty more. Oh, I just can't help myself!"

"Relax now, daughter." Cloudy Quartz told Pinkie Pie, telling her not to get so hyped up.

Pinkie Pie sat down on a couch, feeling like she wanted to try doing something just between herself and her mother.

"We should play a game together, mother! Just between me and you!" Pinkie Pie suggested.

Cloudy Quartz, however, took a look around, knowing they can't play any games in the house, such as board games, party games, action games, etc. "But we can't play games when there's none in this house, though." She told Pinkie Pie.

"I can come up with one for you." Pinkie Pie said, as she has a very bright idea on what game she and her mother can play between themselves.

"No, really, I'm fine, Pinkie." Cloudy Quartz declined Pinkie's offer.

Soon after, Pinkie Pie and Cloudy Quartz walked out the house and meet up with the rest of the family outside.

"Hey, how is everypony doing?" Cloudy Quartz asked the other four ponies, who are still standing on rocks this whole time.

"Just okay, honey." Igneous Rock replied, as he and the other Pie sisters, Limestone, Maud and Marble, are just looking at the rocks below them. "We were just taking a look at the rocks and discovering them..." He said nervously.

"Hey, don't have us left out." Pinkie Pie as she walked on the rocks, catching up with her father and her sisters, with her mother going behind her.

"Be careful taking each step." Igneous Rock warned his wife and Pinkie Pie.

Pinkie and Cloudy made sure they took each step carefully without falling into the water. They successfully make it just in time.

"A family together again!" Pinkie Pie said, feeling connected with her sisters and father again.

"I just feel like we should head back home and study more rocks afterwards." Limestone Pie told her family, as they should go back after she has been so much with loving the rocks at the bay.

"Okay, if you insist." Maud Pie responded, as she and the rest all started walking away from the area where the house is, and return to the Rock farm and focus more about rocks.
