Next in line after Twilight's breaking down [link], Luna's psyche is not taking her child turning to stone well. She was taking it well for a little while, but she eventually broke too.
Queen Selena La Luna cold be frequently found trotting outside at night weeping and calling out Toxoplasmosa's name. She barely slept or ate. To Luna nothing made sense anymore. Her child was gone, her wife lost all happiness and light, and her beloved sister became distant due to their decision to honor Tox's wish. Her life just fell apart. Nothing made sense anymore. She could just-
"No." Luna caught herself. "I can't just end my life, i still have a country to rule and a wife to love!" she wished these words would cheer herself up, but it barely worked.
"... Oh who am i kidding, i could just lay down and never wake up again. That would be... nice." she admitted, quietly, defeated by her demons.
That night the moon didn't rise up into the sky.
