Even for players that are focused on roleplaying or new to the system in general... everyone loves having a justification to write new and exciting rules in their favor.
Transcript:
DM: Before I left, I gave you all some homework. Have you decided what you want to do with all the magic Twilight was given, and how you want to represent that mechanically?
Twilight Sparkle: Well, we had some questions to ask... How much are we allowed to move our power around? Can I give it to my friends? Can they give their raw magic to me?
DM: You can share it with the group, but the group can't all give you their magic too. That was... mainly an alicorn thing.
Twilight Sparkle: I see. We're probably gonna keep the magic with me.
Rarity: Your tactical advice for Tirek was, unfortunately, convincing.
Fluttershy: Wouldn't be fun to be drained mid-fight...
Rainbow Dash: We came up with some awesome ideas, though!
DM: Yeah? Like what?
Fluttershy: Maybe we ALL get to control Twilight?
Applejack: So she gets six Initiatives in combat?
Rarity: And two of us roll combined d20s on skill checks and attack rolls?
Pinkie Pie: And she has access to ALL of our skills and powers?
Rainbow Dash: Quad damage dice??
DM: Oh... my. That is quite the shopping list.
