Story - Princess Luna and the Moon Festival

Summary: The Moon Festival is being celebrated in Hong Kong, and Princess Luna feels excited that she gets to take part in the festival. Furthermore, she learns new things during the festival, such as trying out mooncakes and karate.

Princess Luna has just entered out the portal, which ends up taking her into the real world, reaching the destination, Hong Kong. Eventually, after the portal closed, Princess Luna realized Hong Kong was at nighttime, and she saw several humans carrying bright lanterns through the streets, giving mooncakes for their relatives as presents, and light up other lanterns for tonight's festival known as the Moon Festival.

"What is this?" Princess Luna wondered, watching people doing multiple activities for this celebration season everyone has been celebrating in the country for about three centuries straight. "This looks like the local humans are having a big celebration tonight."

"Indeed, you are correct." said a man appearing behind Princess Luna, making her turn around and look directly at him.

"Can you please tell me what the people are doing in this country tonight?" Princess Luna asked the man, as she is looking for answers about what the humans are doing for tonight's celebration.

The man, who is known as a martial artist named Cameron Lee, explains to the pony, saying, "What you see are people doing activities for the Moon Festival. Among them include mooncakes, carrying out lanterns for the festival, watching the moon, and lighting lanterns. We people in this country have doing this for the goddess of the moon, Chang'e."

"I think you'll realize that I am also a moon goddess myself." Princess Luna told the man, as she is also related to the moon and also a princess from Equestria.

"Why, looks like that's something I can consider a coincidence." Cameron said, learning that both Princess Luna and Chang'e are moon goddesses would be like worshipping them both.

"That's right, because I have been a heroine over a thousand years protecting ponies through dreams and helping them fight for what's right." Princess Luna added, as she has been doing everything she has could in order to save Equestria and the ponies, even her own sister, who is older.

Cameron looked shocked when he heard Princess Luna saying she's been saving the ponies in her universe over one-thousand years. "How old are you?" He asked her, wondering just how long she has been living.

"A princess never reveals her age." Princess Luna responded, as she would never tell anybody about how old she is, knowing that isn't really something she is comfortable with.

Eventually, the man looked guilty and nervous over what he asked the moon princess, and then proceeds to leave without saying anything else.

"I haven't been in this city for almost a decade." Princess Luna said, recalling from the last time she visited the place. "There's just some places around the world that I have forgotten until the next time I visit that place."

Princess Luna eventually walked herself and decides that she should try out the dessert that is generally seen during the Moon Festival, which she is sure it will satisfy her a lot.

Walking towards the a shop where a baker is selling mooncakes for people that are giving them for relatives as presents. This is always true, but in Princess Luna's case, however, she is trying them for herself, since she doesn't have her sister or her friends with her along the journey in this very special festival.

"Hey, could I try some mooncakes?" Princess Luna asked the baker, as she approached the shop where mooncakes are being ordered for today only.

"Say, it is an honor that you would be coming today." The baker told the princess, as he was praising her for having traits related with the moon, especially her cutie mark. "These mooncakes are gonna be the most sweetest desserts you'll ever love!"

"I hoped you'd say that." Princess Luna chuckled as she passed over ten dollars towards the baker, which she has had in her saddle bag this whole time, and he put the mooncakes in a bag, keeping them safe.

"See you next time, if you do, of course." The baker waved at the moon princess as she eventually walked away from the shop and continued her journey in Hong Kong.

Feeling confident the mooncakes are gonna satisfy her, Princess Luna started flying in the air, holding the bag with her magic for some time until she saw a table with three chairs nearby with nobody around, so she decides she should go eat at the table and try out the mooncakes she has just gotten from the shop.

"These are definitely gonna satisfy me!" Princess Luna as she levitated one mooncake into her mouth, eating it.

Deciding how they tasted after eating it knowing it is just a dessert, Princess Luna said with excitement, saying, "Wow, these mooncakes really are sweet after all! I didn't believe they'd be so sweet in the first place."

Shortly afterwards, Princess Luna started doing some karate, performing some incredible moves for fun. "Hi-yah!" She said in a voice imitating Bruce Lee, as she even used his karate moves for a couple more seconds. "I can kick anyone with karate!" She looked confident in herself.

"I can go back and finish my mooncakes now." Princess Luna said, going back towards the table and finishing the remaining mooncakes she has got. When she sat down, she ate all them one at a time, as she preferred eating every single one of them.

Some time later, the Moon Festival has started, and everyone, including friends and families, sat down looking at the moon in the sky. Princess Luna was looking determined that she should go up in the sky where the moon is and grab the people her attention. "Okay, this is my chance to shine for all the people!" She said, flapping her wings and fly towards the moon.

People looked up in surprise as they saw the pony fly towards the moon which she would make something more special for the citizens.

"Is she really gonna do it...?" asked one girl with her parents, seeing a pony like Princess Luna flying into the air and head straight for the moon, which is her symbol and personality.

Princess Luna was in the sky, going to the moon and give an important announcement for the citizens. When she reached the moon, she started her announcement: "Greetings, my fellow ones. I am the Moon Goddess who has helped protect others in their dreams and do everyone for what's right."

Hearing Luna's announcement from below with her traditional Canterlot voice, they heard her loud and clear, clapping hands, and loved what they just learned from her about her being the goddess of the moon, and also part of royalty.

"This night has been a spectacular festival night!" Princess Luna said, still using her traditional Canterlot voice. "I hope you humans remember to call me for anything because I will be visiting this city the next time I plan on doing so!"

With that, Princess Luna started flying elsewhere while the humans from below waved goodbye at her, praising her for being a moon goddess and that she is the one that they can depend on in the future.
