It was told to Spike and Rarity that they would never have a child, in fact they tried to have a baby many and many times before, but they never gave up. Using a little bit of chaotic magic they managed to concive her. When she was first born she didn't have any wings or horns, but only wings later came up as she reached puberty. Moonstone is very optimistic, social, creative, brave and fearless, but also goofy and naive. She works as an archaeologist and loves her job, but mostly being covered in mud during the excavations.
