There were three robots, part of a pre war experiment to reverse engineer zebra soul jar technology to create robotic soldiers capable of everything a pony could do and more. These units were proposed to be able to go where it was too dangerous for any real pony to go. The project was approved, though no information about how they were made was ever allowed to go public, they were told to lie and say they had a incredible breakthrough in AI technology. A few prototypes were built, using the souls of unfortunate volunteers. While original zebra soul jars only used part of the soul, in order to operate as intended, these robots needed more... needed all of it... They were successful, however they were too late. Before any more progress could be made, the last day ended, destroying the world and creating a new one in the process.
