I mean I have nothing against questions about old adventures and historical events, but we can run the risk of getting muddied up in the nostalgia.

I don’t mind rose-tinted glasses, but I like to look to the future as well. So, about these movies that came out almost half a century ago...

I've been updating Movie Slate in a relatively consistent fashion for almost a year, and somehow never uploaded a single one of those panels over here on DeviantArt. I never claim to be the sharpest tool in the shed, but even for me this was a pretty dull move. From this point on I've decided to upload at least one or two pictures every week, most from those updates I actually feel pretty good about.

Season 2 was ten years ago. I was working on a custom brushable pony when watching Part 1 of the premiere, and then a week later rushing to the livestream of part 2 after putting the groceries away. It's funny how that sort of mentality would change so quickly with the advent of streaming, a much better, much healthier system to watch shows and movies. No longer tied to a schedule, you can just watch whatever you want...that is until they take it down due to licensing issues, damn.

But yes, drawing! I wanted to draw Discord coiling his body around Movie Slate, so here you go. I don't draw Discord often enough, he's great and a hoot to work on.
